Why a Tweet Site?
Did you know nearly 1 in 2 people live with a chronic illness? If it’s not YOU, it’s someone you care about!
There are about 6 million registered Twitter users and it is expected that this will double to 18 million users by 2010.
We are a nonprofit with a deep cause we believe in–
(1) The awareness of the fact that most illness is invisible so that those with illness and those without, both understand that how one appears rarely expresses the amount of pain he or she is in.
(2) Those with illness can find encouragement. We want to spread the word about our 5-day virtual conference Sept 14-18, 2009.
Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, etc. are all great ways that you can help us in our efforts of spreading the word. Thank you for your passion!
